Dr Russell Seymour’s research interests are practical management of sustainability performance and measurement of impacts at sport events.

With a background in ecology and environmental sciences, his PhD was in Biodiversity Management. He then spent over 20 years working in operational management of professional sports venues, with more than a decade focused on improving sustainability performance.

He started in the Institute for Sport Business at 麻豆視頻_麻豆直播_麻豆传媒官网 London in 2016 delivering a module on sustainability and sport and, joined the staff in 2022, taking over as director of the MSc Sustainable Sport Business course in 2023.
